King Super 20

1948

This is a tenor from the second half of the first series of Super 20. It has a lighter lacquer as the first ones and the G sharp key has changed. It has become a sort of mother of pearl teardrop. The lacquer is original and in a very good shape. The instrument is fysically also very good. The pads are almost as new. This instrument has been dissassembled, cleaned, lubed, I made the mechanism tight, all pads seal and I regulated the instrument optimal. This instrument is really vibrant, you can feel that when you play loud. The sound is great: big, loud, brutal, it can scream, but also whisper. Great horn!
