I bought this tenor back from an old man who stopped with playing. I did an overhaul years ago, but it hasn’t been played much ever since. The pads looked ok, the instrument was sealing fine. When I took it apart to renew all cork, I saw that the pads were really dry. So I ended up doing a complete overhaul. The sound is full, fat, warm and direct, as a good Martin. Intonation and ergonomics are great. A great instrument! I took the photo’s before the overhaul.
