Buescher 400

1967

This is the first generation Buescher 400 after Selmer bought the Buescher factory. Compared to the post Top Hat & Cane Buescher 400, nothing has changed yet. These changes come later, this is still a real Buescher:

This instrument is completely original: it has the snap-in system (with fresh pads) the famous Norton springs and the amber rollers. The lacquer is not complete anymore, but original. It has been overhauled completely about a year ago. The sound is wonderful: round and mature, enough bite to compete with modern horns, but with a nice vintage flavour. Great instrument with a modest price.
